
Financial Reporting Specialist
Financial Reporting Specialist is responsible mainly for financial reporting and analysis, maintenance, and improvement of Cost Recovery model, internal finance policies and cooperation with the accounting provider. Financial Reporting Specialist prepares monthly accruals and supports yearly closing activities as well as budgeting and forecasting. This role also develops and improves internal finance processes, creates, and maintains internal guidelines to support the company's growth.
He/She reports to Head of Finance and Data Management.
Description
Maintain cost recovery model
Prepare monthly reporting to the International Office
Prepare and monitor the budget, perform activities related to financial planning
Analysis of Budget vs. Actual Vs. Forecast
Request for posting of accounting transactions (e.g., accruals, provisions, and fixed assets)
Analyze current and past financial data and performance
Ensure compliance with internal policies and standards
Monitor financial risks
Prepare reporting package for consolidation of financial statements based on SWISS GAAP
Review of general ledger and cost center
Reporting to the company's entities (maintenance of existing reports, creation of new reports)
Prepare monthly reporting on financial performance for SITS management team and provide initial comments/analyses on deviations
Provide reports to support performance management related to SLAs and KPIs
Perform and coordinate year-end closing activities and activities related to local audit
Maintenance and develop regular metrics and internal finance guidelines
Cooperation on projects
Requirements:
Experience from Finance/Reporting position +4 years
Enhanced skills in Excel is a must (BI PRO and SQL is a plus)
Knowledge of Accounting Standards, P&L (SWISS GAAP is an advance)
Experience with Navision is welcomed
English language (both verbal & written)
Speaking Czech is an advantage
Work permit in the Czech Republic
