
HRIS Analyst
Job description:
A human resources information systems (HRIS) analyst is a professional who oversees the databases and computer systems that help organizations manage human resources and helps optimize their performance.
- Consults with HR departments to identify technology requirements that support business objectives and translates these requirements into actionable project plans and HR system solutions
- Manages internal database files and tables and develops custom solutions to meet internal and external customer requirements
- Develops, generates and puts into production ad hoc and recurring reports and ensures their distribution to customers
- Gathers user requirements and translates them into documentation and project plans that meet delivery terms and deadlines
- Understands and audits business applications and data to ensure accuracy, quality and integration capabilities.
- Develops, documents and executes system test plans in the requirements and implementation phases of the project
- Configures and maintains HR systems and interfaces in accordance with documentation resulting from requirements gathering
- Handles basic troubleshooting, administration and maintenance, including imports
- Maintains and updates the HRIS process manual, HRIS processes and workflows. Trains new users
- Ensures system administration and security and regulatory compliance
- Manages requests for changes, enhancements, and upgrades to existing systems and/or features
- Monitors supplier service level, quality assurance and customer service
We require:
- Secondary school or university in the field of computer science, human resources or a related field
- Expert knowledge of AJ both verbally and in writing
- 4+ years of HR information systems experience or an appropriate combination of education and experience
- Occasional local, national and/or international travel may be required
- High level of knowledge of MS Office Suite, Outlook and internet applications
- Good analytical skills, ability to prioritize, interpersonal skills, problem solving ability to present, budget, manage projects (from concept to completion) and plan
- Good verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation and argumentation) also in AJ
- Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues and associates within the organization, as well as with internal and external clients
- Ability to work independently and in a team at a fast pace and with respect to deadlines
- Self-motivation with a critical focus on details, deadlines and reports
