About the role:

We are currently looking for a SharePoint Solution Architect who will be the expert for

solutions to be migrated from SP2013 to SharePoint Online. The solutions are migrated by

an external vendor and should follow best practices and fit within the company SharePoint

online solution landscape. The solution architect will review the proposed solution approach

and technologies, discuss with the vendor and if necessary propose adequate changes that

are most beneficial. A solution hub will be set up to facilitate reusable solutions. The solution

architect will be the owner of the solution hub during the migration, and will hand over to the

target team after the migrations have been completed.

Solutions can be any appropriate technology and therefore a wider SharePoint, Power

Platform and Azure Logic Apps orientation is a must.

Communication and self-motivation are two major requirements to succeed in this position.

Clear, understandable and comprehensive written and spoken technical English is

absolutely necessary to explain the technicalities in a global multinational team.

Your work:

● Use your experience in SharePoint online, Power Platform, SPFx, Logic Apps, JS or

a combination thereof

● Working with different business units to understand their technical requirements and

design solutions to deliver value and/or improve customer experience

● Supporting the development of, and ensuring conformance to agreed principles,

practices and standards for new solutions/applications

● Enforce adherence to architectural standards/principles, governance, guidelines,

design standards, etc.

● Assessing options (risk, performance, cost benefit etc.) and proactively informing

decision makers with recommendations

● Keep a global eye on overall solution implementations and perform reviews and

checks to ensure that the solution are following the guidelines and standards

● Participate in daily vendor delivery review meetings, to evaluate the deliverables from

the migration development factory vendor

You should have:

● Real world senior SharePoint online and SPFx experience with a good in

depth understanding of Power Platform and/or Logic Apps

● Experience in analyzing business needs and transform these into technical

solutions and solution design

● Good working knowledge of the entire M365 stack, including their interactions

and use

● Good (=fast) analytical and technical problem-solving skills

● Understanding of Security and Compliance

● Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). This means not

perfect or beautiful, but excellent social team communication and being able to

sell ideas.

● Scripting experience (PowerShell, JS)

● Nintex 2013 experience (nice to have)

● Proven track-record in a large scale enterprise environment
