About the role:

Company is moving all SharePoint sites from SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint online. To

deliver all required solutions and customizations for the end-user, we set up a migration

factory with an external vendor. Company HL is responsible to migrate as much as

technically possible and ensure completeness and quality before handing over to the

factory.

To ensure the quality and most effective site migration, we are looking for a SharePoint

Technical Lead who will be the technical expert to support the SharePoint Online migration

engineers by addressing technical issues and problems in SPO. The migration is

replatforming customized SharePoint sites to SharePoint online, using the most efficient and

cost effective solutions. This includes standard SPO features, Power Platform (automate,

apps), SPFx components, etc.

The existing migration engineers are very experienced in site structure, permission and

content migrations. Now we start migrating additional complexity (e.g. custom scripts,

forms) and require someone who is able to analyze deeper technical issues and blockers

within the shortest possible time, propose a solution to be implemented by the engineers

and ensure that knowledge is shared to prevent reoccurrences.

The role requires hands-on practical senior experience with SharePoint and related

technology, such as Designer workflows, Power Platform, Nintex, InfoPath, SPFx, PnP

Webparts, etc. Not less important is communication within a global virtual team where MS

Teams is our office.

Your work:

● Owner of technical issues and problems in the migration

● Ensure issues and blockers are resolved

● Anticipates potential conflict situations and proactively proposes solutions and helps

solving project bottlenecks as they arise

● Coach team members to ensure alignment and best practice standards

● Continuous improvement of the technical migration process

● May include communication with external vendors building SharePoint solutions (e.g.

review designs, best practices, etc.)

● Work together with our enterprise architect, solution architect and Senior migration

manager to improve and further develop global SharePoint online and SharePoint

solutions

You should have:

● Technical lead or similar senior level role with some technical leadership

experience

● Excellent hands-on experience in SharePoint and related technologies

● Good general knowledge of O365, Microsoft Azure cloud

● Hands-on experience with SPFx development.

● Complex SharePoint migrations, understanding the challenges and solutions

of migrating from SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint online

● Must be a self-starter and effective collaborator who is not afraid to challenge,

give opinions and bring ideas into the team

● Absolutely delivery focused and able to work on multiple issues and topics at

the same time

● Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), we’re a fast moving

team and communication is crucial for our delivery

● Nintex 2013 experience

● Power Platform hands on experience
