The Opportunity
We are looking for an innovative Senior AI Engineer to join a special initiative at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Development Security Operations (DevSecOps). This is a unique, hands-on role where you will play a key part in building a new generation of AI Agents to automate and enhance our code scanning and security analysis lifecycle.
Your focus will be on building sophisticated agents that interact with platforms like Checkmarx, Datadog, and SonarQube. You'll help these agents automate code submissions, interpret security results, and suggest potential fixes. If you are a proactive and curious engineer who enjoys tackling new challenges and wants to apply AI to solve real-world software security problems, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop AI Agents: Contribute to the design and development of AI agents that automate steps in the code analysis process.
- Implement Security Workflows: Build and refine intelligent workflows for interacting with security tools (Checkmarx, SonarQube, etc.), from submitting code to retrieving and parsing results.
- Develop Remediation Features: Work on agentic systems that analyze security findings, use RAG for context, and generate code fix suggestions.
- Innovate and Prototype: Research and experiment with different AI approaches and frameworks to solve specific technical challenges, and present your findings to the team.
Technical Contribution:
- Take ownership of key components of the project, working with autonomy to deliver high-quality code and solutions within the project’s framework.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong Software Engineering Background: Solid experience in software development with a good understanding of the full development lifecycle and best practices.
- SRE / DevSecOps Experience: Hands-on experience working with and integrating security or observability tools (e.g., Checkmarx, Datadog, Veracode, SonarQube, Black Duck).
- Python Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Python for software development and AI applications.
AI and LLM Experience:
- Practical experience building with AI frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or CrewAI.
- Good understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and their practical applications.
- Experience implementing or working with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems.
- Automation Tooling: Familiarity with workflow automation tools (e.g., n8n, MCP, or similar) is a plus.
The Ideal Candidate Is a Self-Motivated Builder:
- Proactive and enjoys taking on complex technical tasks.
- Thrives on Problem-Solving: Comfortable working on exploratory tasks where the exact solution path needs to be discovered.
- Is a Creative Thinker: Brings a curious mindset and new ideas for applying technology to solve problems.
- Is a Good Communicator: Can clearly explain technical concepts, progress, and challenges to team members.
