Backround:
The client is transforming its legacy, cube-based reporting environment into a modern, scalable analytics platform using Databricks as the central data platform and Tableau as the reporting frontend. The goal is to establish governed semantic data models, improve reporting performance, and create a sustainable architecture for future BI and analytics use cases.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver scalable analytics solutions that support enterprise-wide insights and decision-making
- Develop efficient data structures and consumption layers to enable reliable reporting and self-service analytics
- Improve responsiveness, scalability, and overall efficiency across the analytical ecosystem
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define reusable frameworks, implementation standards, and long-term operating models
Qualifications:
- Proven hands-on experience with modern cloud-based data and analytics technologies, including strong expertise in Databricks and Tableau
- Deep understanding of analytical data structures, business metrics frameworks, and information delivery concepts
- Track record of optimizing large-scale datasets, analytical workloads, and visualization environments for enterprise use
- Experience modernizing legacy business intelligence environments and establishing governance, security, and data ownership principles is highly desirable
