Job Description

• Development of an application platform reporting large volumes of data (Oracle DB with a size of several terabytes)
• Design and implementation of technical solutions reflecting business requirements
• Creation of solution designs with a focus on security, performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Planning, coordination, and support of all phases of the software development lifecycle
• Management of priorities, risks, and opportunities within projects
• Ensuring compliance of solutions with internal and external development and documentation standards
• Hybrid cooperation model with 3 days per week onsite in Prague

Requirements

• At least 3 years of commercial experience developing high-performance, low-latency backend applications in C++
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Active English proficiency at B2 level or higher
• Advanced experience with:
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL, including work with Oracle DB and large data volumes
  • Proven experience with Linux scripting, GitHub, messaging technologies (JMS, AMQ), and XML processing
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to clearly and structurally explain complex topics

Nice to Have

• Experience with application migration to the cloud
• Knowledge of Docker, OpenShift (Kubernetes), GCP
• Experience in financial markets or financial systems
