‍Workload: Part-time (25–30 hours per week)
‍Location: Vienna (approx. 4 days per month on-site, otherwise remote)
‍Duration: 7 months

Tasks:

• Definition of the PoC/MVP scope (functional & non-functional requirements)
• Defining acceptance criteria
• Development of the target architecture (Bronze / Silver / Gold Layer in the Lakehouse)
• Decision on migration strategy
  • Lift & Shift
  • Redesign / Refactoring
• Selection of suitable migration tools and technology stacks
• Governance
• Security concept
• Performance strategies
• Coordination between various teams (e.g. Data, IT, Business)
• Stakeholder communication (management, specialist departments, external partners)

Qualifications:

• Several years of experience as a Data / Solution Architect or Delivery Lead
• Knowledge in the Treasury domain
• Very good knowledge of MS SQL Server (DWH) and SSAS
• In-depth experience with Databricks
• Experience with cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure
• Solid knowledge of data modeling (Kimball) and Lakehouse architectures
• Experience with data platform migrations (including strategy & implementation)
• Ability to define architectures, select technologies, and make strategic decisions
• Experience in stakeholder management and cross-team coordination
