The client is seeking an experienced Python/React Developer to support ongoing and upcoming initiatives involving backend development, AI integration, and modern application engineering.

Project tasks:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python.

• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and real-time communication services.

• Implement asynchronous programming techniques to improve system performance.

• Develop backend components using FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and other modern frameworks.

AI & Data Integration

• Integrate AI services, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and machine learning

capabilities, into production systems.

• Design and deploy machine learning workflows and generative AI pipelines.

• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and agentic AI solutions to enhance

application intelligence.

• Collaborate with data teams to leverage Databricks for ETL, analytics, vector search, and ML

workflows.

DevOps & Quality Engineering

• Ensure code quality via unit and integration testing (pytest), code reviews, and best

practices.

• Manage deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).

• Follow secure development practices including data encryption, vulnerability mitigation, and

compliance with internal security policies.

Qualfications:

Backend Development

• Advanced Python programming with clean, efficient, maintainable code.

• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns.

• Experience with asynchronous frameworks (asyncio, aiohttp).

• Hands-on experience with:  

o FastAPI, SQLAlchemy (ORM)

o PostgreSQL (schema design, optimization, performance tuning)

o REST APIs and WebSockets

DevOps & Deployment

• Proficiency in Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.

• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.

Testing & Version Control

• Familiarity with pytest for comprehensive test coverage.

• Strong version control practices using Git and Bitbucket.

Authentication & Security

• Integration with Azure Entra ID for identity and access management.

• Knowledge of authentication protocols: OAuth2, implicit flow, and code flow.

• Adherence to security best practices, secure coding, and encryption standards.

AI Engineering & Data Platforms

• Practical experience integrating LLMs and generative AI into applications.

• Experience with Databricks for:  

o ETL pipelines

o analytics

o ML workflows

o vector search

• Competence in RAG architectures and developing autonomous agentic AI systems.

Frontend & Full-Stack Skills

• Basic proficiency in React for building and integrating frontend components.

• Understanding of full-stack development workflows and API integration.
