Duration: 5 months +

Workload: 40 hours per week (approx. 160 hours per month)

Location: Mostly remote (3 day per month on-site in Vienna / remaining days remote)

Languages: Fluent English (German is an advantage)

Project Tasks:

Develop, modernize, and operate backend services within a .NET environment

Modernize service and system architectures and replace legacy technologies

Design and contribute to standardized, data-driven backend solutions

Integrate, extend, and optimize backend workflows and processes

Ensure clean architecture, maintainable code, and well-defined service interfaces

Implement unit and automated tests; ideally work with CI/CD and Camunda workflows

Qualifications:

Professional experience in .NET backend development

Strong understanding of clean architectures, service-oriented design, and code quality

Proven experience with unit testing, test automation, and ideally CI/CD pipelines

Experience with Camunda workflows and data-driven backend systems is a plus

Interest or experience in applying AI for backend data processing and automation
