Overview

The role is responsible for designing, building, and integrating process and analytical data products that enable regulatory, operational, and digital transformation initiatives across the MRL, MMD, ERA, and Appian ecosystems. This position works closely with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable data engineering solutions and drive end‑to‑end data product development.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Engineering & Integration

• Build and maintain process and analytical data products, conceptual data models, and integration patterns.
• Design and integrate process, stability, and genealogy data across ERA, Appian, and MRL/MMD systems.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and reliability across interconnected platforms.

Regulatory Data Enablement

• Develop structured data pipelines and source system queries to support regulatory submission content (e.g., CTD sections S2.5, P3.5).
• Partner with regulatory stakeholders to ensure accuracy, completeness, and traceability of data assets.

Digital Transformation & Data Virtualization

• Collaborate with MANTIS and SDC teams to virtualize models into the MRL data lake.
• Enable seamless ingestion of development lab system data into future data platform architectures.
• Support modernization and cloud‑based data strategies.

Data Architecture & Modeling

• Lead data modeling efforts using PowerDesigner and other modeling frameworks.
• Architect data solutions using Delta Lake medallion principles and Databricks Delta.
• Serve as the ERA Solution Architect for the Data Product workstream.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Translate high‑level business requirements into clear, actionable specifications for data engineering teams.
• Collaborate with product owners, SMEs, and engineering teams to ensure data products meet business needs and technical standards.
