Project description:

Strategic OT/IT migration project in the energy sector focusing on real-time operational data.

You will act as a Senior Technical Consultant for Realtime Data, working closely with the Program Manager to design, align and steer the target architecture around AVEVA PI, Bazefield and Azure.

The role is design- and coordination-focused (no coding), requiring strong OT expertise and stakeholder communication to guide engineering teams through a complex migration in renewables and grid environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Align multiple stakeholders (OT, IT, Azure, vendors) and guide engineering teams
• Design and align AVEVA PI architecture (PI Server, AF, Interfaces) and interfaces to Bazefield
• Define and explain how OT data pipelines are mirrored into Azure (no hands-on development)
• Act as technical lead for real-time data integration and migration
• Coordinate and structure data and interface testing
• Advise on substation, transmission & distribution OT environments

Skills & Experience

Must-have

• Strong AVEVA PI experience beyond HMI (PI Server, AF, Interfaces)
• Solid OT protocol knowledge (e.g. OPC, Modbus, IEC 60870-5-104)
• Experience in substation / T&D environments
• Practical Azure experience (architecture & data flow understanding)

Nice-to-have

• Background in Renewables (Wind, Solar, BESS)
• Experience with Bazefield
