Responsibilities:

• Development, enhancement, and maintenance of applications based on Java and Spring in an Azure environment
• Optimization of core backend modules and services in terms of performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Use of modern AI technologies (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, MCPs) to accelerate software development and create prototypes
• Design and development of APIs, interfaces, and event schemas
• Automation of integration, testing, and deployment processes
• Analysis of business requirements and technical consulting for Product Owners
• Collaboration in an international agile team consisting of developers, business analysts, testers, and DevOps specialists

Qualifications:

• Several years of experience in software development
• Very good knowledge of Java, Spring, SQL, REST, and Maven
• Experience with modern frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or comparable frameworks
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Practical experience working with Microsoft Azure
• Experience using AI tools throughout the software development lifecycle
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working

Nice to have:

• Experience developing complex enterprise applications
• Experience with microservices architectures
• Knowledge of modern cloud-native development approaches
• Experience in the financial or insurance sector
