We are looking for an experienced MicroStrategy Developer to join our Business Intelligence team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dashboard development, data modeling, and MicroStrategy administration, with the ability to deliver scalable and optimized BI solutions. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical and collaboration skills, capable of transforming business requirements into impactful reports and visualizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Dashboard & Report Development
  Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards, scorecards, and reports using MicroStrategy Report Services and Dossiers.
• Object Management
  Build and maintain schema objects, public objects, and application objects, including:
  • Attributes, Facts, Metrics
  • Hierarchies, Filters, Prompts
  • Templates and Visualizations
• End-to-End BI Development
  Manage the full lifecycle of BI solutions from schema creation to dashboard deployment, including object migration using MicroStrategy Object Manager.
• Advanced Data Modeling
  Conduct complex semantic and schema layer design, dimension modeling, and both logical and physical data modeling to support scalable analytics.
• Performance Optimization
  Tune and optimize the performance of reports, dossiers, documents, and cubes by implementing best practices for BI and SQL optimization.
• MicroStrategy Administration
  Administer the MicroStrategy platform, including:
  • Installation and configuration
  • Security role and user/group management
  • Implementation of security filters and access control
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable BI solutions.
• Team Support & Mentorship
  Mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, and contribute to team knowledge sharing and process improvement.
• Deployment & Maintenance
  Participate in project deployments, object and content migrations, and ongoing maintenance while ensuring data integrity and compliance across environments.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven expertise in MicroStrategy development and administration
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and BI best practices
• Proficiency in SQL optimization and data modeling techniques
• Experience with schema and semantic layer design
• Familiarity with MicroStrategy environment setup, user administration, and object migration
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience mentoring and supporting junior team members is a plus
