In alignment with our company strategy to enable innovation, growth, and productivity by digital and data capabilities, Mid Europe Region (MER) commercial Digital, Data and Analytics (D&A) team is executing the global strategy on data; digital. This regional team is focused on using digital, data, and analytics capabilities
across the end-to-end commercialization process to drive data-driven decision making in alignment with regional Oncology and Primary Care & Vaccines priorities, digital & CX priorities and markets needs. As regional MER D&A continues its transformation to bring premier capabilities to the commercial organization,
we are seeking for a dynamic role of Regional Business Analyst & Analytics Project Manager in MER. This role will leverage problem solving, technical knowledge, project management, knowledge of pharmaceutical data landscape to partner with market D&A teams, MER IT teams (Data Eng, BA, Viz, AMS) and MER DD&A team
members toward business analysis and effective delivery of analytics projects/products. In this capacity, the role will be an integral part to lead, coordinate & facilitate the execution of regional commercial analytics products (that create ‘data-driven’ decisions) that are relevant across the organization and ensure market
and regional needs are being fulfilled. The role will be based in Prague, CZ and will report to MER D&A Lead.
Responsibilities:
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
By representing regional D&A; lead, drive, be accountable for the delivery of the following regional
commercial analytics products:
- MER Customer Engagement Score Dashboard
- MER Omni Channel Dashboard
- MER Campaign Tracker Dashboard
- MER Leadership Insights Dashboard
Note: Delivery includes 1) roll out to market 2) Change Requests 3) Enhancements 3) Bugs.
- Act as project manager & go-to person for: 1) business requirements collections 2) translate and
describe business requirements in Jira Ticket for MER IT 3) markets questions / clarifications.
- Understand business stakeholders’ priorities to help translate their needs into business requirements.
- Ensure with MER IT and Scrum Master that backlog tickets are estimated, prioritized, and planned
seamlessly and in right sequence in sprint planning.
- Implement robust refinement practices and customer feedback loops to ensure business requirements,
features delivered are aligned with business/user/requestor needs.
- Participate in all agile ceremonies (stand up, refinement, sprint planning etc) and provided input when
needed.
- Communicate via release newsletter the release update to region and market stakeholders.
- Establish and manage close relationships with market D&A teams, MER IT.
- Collaborate with market D&A teams, anticipate incoming demand and ad-hoc requests and create a
seamless delivery process as well as update documentation when needed.
- Lease, escalate (on incidences, bugs etc) within MER IT, MER AMS and global Data Sources teams.
- Be accountable for providing feedback on layout enhancement by having a sharp eye on UI/UX.
BUSINESS ANALYSIS
- Act as business analyst for relevant regional needs that surface during the development of those
commercial analytics products (or ad-hoc), deep dive into data analysis, comparisons across markets,
develop deep understanding of the problem to solve and possess ability to present solutions/options to
regional stakeholders and drive delivery via MER IT. Some examples of business analysis requests:
- Discrepancies across dashboards
- Various methodologies to split channels by Business Unit
- Metric calculation discrepancies region versus global
VOICE OF BUSINESS
- Act as ‘voice of business’ towards MER IT on 1) data acquisition topics 2) global-to-region data
migration projects 3) regional datamarts and routinely keep business informed on project progress, quality
standards, data availability timelines &; documentation.
Education, Experience ; Competencies
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis and project management
- Have hands on experience with database querying (SQL) and excel
- Strong analytical thinker and problem solving skills
- Be familiar with Qlik from the consumer perspective
- Be familiar (or prior usage) of Atlassian (Jira &; Confluence)
- Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, ability to work independently and collaborate seamlessly
- Ability to operate in a complex matrix environment and have strong organizational skills to create structure
and clarity
- Effectively communicate complex concepts in simple ways
- Ability to self-learn and develop business and technical knowledge quickly
- Experience of different ways of working and delivery methodologies – agile, kanban
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and lead with diverse groups of work colleagues and positively
manage ambiguity
- Ability to react well to rapidly changing requirements with a positive attitude
