QA Engineer

Responsibilities
- Design, create, and maintain comprehensive and well-structured test cases
- Perform manual testing of new features, functionalities, and software enhancements
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using open-source testing frameworks
- Build and enhance mobile test automation solutions, primarily using Appium
- Conduct backend, API, and mobile application testing to ensure system reliability
- Analyze, document, and track software defects, bugs, and quality issues
- Investigate root causes of incidents and collaborate on effective resolutions
- Independently evaluate and interpret test results to support informed decision-making
- Ensure efficient test coverage and continuously optimize test strategies, including AI-driven testing approaches
- Contribute proactively to defect prevention and continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle
- Participate actively in agile ceremonies and support quality assurance activities within each sprint
- Validate user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure delivery of business requirements
- Utilize testing and development tools such as Appium, Kotlin, Testiny, Postman, Kibana, Grafana, Git, and GitHub Actions
- Communicate testing progress, risks, findings, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders
- Take ownership of problem-solving activities and quality-related decision-making
- Support continuous improvement of testing methodologies, tools, and processes
- Maintain a strong quality-focused mindset to ensure an excellent customer experience
- Contribute to the delivery of high-quality, market-ready software releases at the end of each sprint
- Continuously expand technical expertise and stay up to date with emerging testing technologies and best practices
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Software Quality Assurance and software development
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing principles, and best practices
- Hands-on experience with backend and/or mobile application testing
- Proven expertise in manual and automated software testing
- Practical experience with modern testing, monitoring, and development tools
- Ability to analyze software defects, identify root causes, and drive resolution activities
- Experience in test coverage management and quality measurement
- Familiarity with AI-driven testing approaches and quality assurance processes
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work independently and make well-founded decisions based on test results
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality software
- Self-motivated, proactive, and accountable working style
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing technologies, priorities, and industry trends
