EAM Business Analyst

About

This individual will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring requirements are clearly defined and the system meets those needs.

Responsibilities

Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for the EAM system, focusing on processes like work order management, inventory, purchasing, and asset lifecycle management.
Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements for both the core EAM system and its integrations.
Author and execute test cases based on business requirements and process flows.
Perform functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the system behaves as expected.
Collaborate closely with the Test Lead to report defects and verify fixes.
Develop procedural documentation and training materials to support business users.

Requirements

Experience: 3+ years as a Business Analyst or in a hybrid BA/Tester role, or similar role.
Domain Knowledge: Understanding of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) processes within a manufacturing or regulated environment.
Technical Skills:
Hands-on experience with EAM or CMMS systems.
Proficiency in writing clear and concise business requirements and test cases.
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
